Quest Tours are a special project by Open Door Academy, created for our children to help them adapt and integrate into their new environment faster.
Such events combine play, learning, and discovery of the world around them. They develop attention, thinking, and teamwork, introduce children to the culture and history of the country they currently live in, and simultaneously strengthen the connection with their native Ukraine 🇺🇦.
On October 23, Open Door Academy students embarked on an unusual journey through the streets of Vienna.
This city preserves the memory of the brave Ukrainian, Yuriy Kulchytsky, a hero who once saved the Viennese during a siege and later founded Austria’s famous coffee tradition ☕.
Our students took part in the quest-tour: they solved tasks, looked for clues, learned interesting historical facts, and simply had a wonderful time 💫.
After the walk, we visited a cozy café where fragrant cocoa and good cheer awaited everyone 🍫☕.
